This last week at Publix had their Mangoes BOGO (buy one get one). So, I got 2 Mangoes for $1, which I didn’t think was a bad deal! My daughter loves Mangoes, she really loves any fruit. Since it is summer, and the weather is so HOT, I thought I would make a Mango Sorbet! Stay tuned!
Makes enough for at least 6 people!
1 cup sugar
——————————————–
In small saucepan bring 1 cup water to a boil.
With 4 mangoes I got about 2 1/2 cups of puree.
Chill in fridge for about 1 hour or longer
Place mixture in ice cream maker and follow manufacturers instructions.
Two of my favorite taste testers have informed me that it is best served shared!
Makes a wonderful summer time dessert after any meal!
Also, think outside the bowl.
Use other types of fruit.
You can even use frozen fruit!

Now that really looks good. I will have to see if I can find some Mangos today when I go to Costcos……or another fruit to try this one out. My ice cream maker bowl has been sitting in the freezer (taking up space) waiting for something to be put in it. I’m thinking that this could be IT.
Thanks for sharing.
