Short Cut Bread Crumbs

Well, my homemade bread crumbs aren’t made with bread, but they are still delicious! Plus, they are super easy! I use them in everything from meatloaf to breading my own chicken.

Ever since my oldest was diagnosed with a milk allergy we have discovered all kinds of things that contain milk. Even store bought bread crumbs have milk. So, now I make my own.
*This recipe would be great for moms with children that have wheat allergies that can’t usually have breaded items!*
Short Cut Bread Crumbs
——————————-
  • 1 Box Corn Flakes or Chex
  • Italian Seasoning

——————————

Place about 5 cups of corn flakes and 1/8 cup italian seasoning in food processor at a time.

Let it go to your desired consistancy.

Place in air tight container until ready to use.

I make the entire box at once and store in plastic containers, that way I have them ready for whenever I need them.

Use to bread Chicken, Shrimp, Fish, in meatloaf, in meatballs, anything that call for breadcrumbs.

Save this for our big recipe on Friday! We will be using them!

That is brilliant! One of my sons is allergic to wheat and corn but we could use Rice Chex.
