Here we go again. Another great truck driver tip! Thanks Hun! There is a company called Huish Detergents. They make the Sun brand along with many Store Brand detergents, like Publix. Apparently they also make ALL!
In a recent shipment from their Kentucky facility there were equal number cases of Publix Brand Laundry Detergent, and All Laundry Detergent. Hmmm….I wonder! Are we paying the extra couple dollars on the quality of products or on advertising them.
Thought you could use this tip before you pay more money than you have to on the same laundry detergent.
I did a little research. Sun Products makes the following
- All
- Wisk
- Snuggle
- Sun
- Surf
- and store brands

Have you seen the price of Wisk? I am not saying that it couldn’t be a different formula, but come on!
How can one company charge so many different prices for items that are so similar?
I work for Sun Products. The two items discussed here are made at two different manufacturing facilities and are different formulas. Just because two items are carried in the same truck doesn't make them the same. That is like saying that because the same truck carries a Cadillac and a Pinto the two could be the same!?
I never said they were the same formula. I said that they came form the same plant, are made by the same company, with more than likely the same ingredients.
I am just letting consumers know where their store brands come from.
I learned from a Costco employee that the Costco laundry detergent is Tide, literally.
