This is why.
My husband brought me 6 of these huge cans of Mushrooms.
Another driver had been overloaded on his truck and they told him to dispose of them.
He didn’t want them so my husband adopted them.
Wasteful! I know. It happens so often.
That is one reason we pay ten different prices for things at the store and when we go out.
About a year ago we received 10 huge cases of toilet paper because the box was dented and they wouldn’t stack properly in the warehouse. The answer….dispose of them.
We have done our best. We still have several cases left. Which certainly helps out on the budget.
My point. Get to know a truck driver, because more than likely he will get a ton of something he is told to dispose of and will not know what to do with it.
I jokingly tell my husband, where is the trailer with the diapers in it? Let’s go kick a couple boxes!
Now….what to do with (6) 68oz cans of mushrooms???
I need your help! Email me or comment your ideas. Anything besides a door stop. I just don’t know how to use that many!

I just watched Food Network and both soup meals had mushrooms. I say cook up some hearty soups and pastas freeze them and there you have killed two birds with one stone!
This is a little late but I just found your site. Love it! When I open a can, I would divide it into individual freezer bags, freeze it and then add to casseroles, soups, etc as needed. I love mushrooms so my question is, what aren’t mushrooms good in?
