Freebie: Music Download with a Mom Tip

baby sleepingThis may not interest all of you but there is a reason I am posting this.

My oldest daughter is the lightest sleeper in the house.  There is a reason for that.  She was the first! For 3 and a half long years she was the only one making noise in our house.  When she napped….there was silence.   I enjoyed that silence so much.  Now, I wish it wasn’t quite so quiet!  She is the biggest pain in the you know what to get to stay asleep.

When my son came around I learned my lesson.  I had one of these wonderful classical music CDs that I put on repeat.  It would play the entire time he slept and he would knock right out.  Clanging dishes, door bells, the tv nothing would wake him because he only heard the music.  He is now 5 and still likes his music on while he is falling asleep.

Now with number 3 I have learned a new trick.  She has the same music CD while she goes to sleep, but I have taken it a step farther.  My kids are not car sleepers thanks to the invention of the back seat TV.  I unplug the TV’s and turn on classical music in the car and within 10 minutes I have all 3 knocked out.  I don’t know what it is but I don’t question it.

So,  my gift to you….well Amazon.com’s gift to you is the I Love the 80s, Vol. 1 (1880s) download for free!  It is a collection of 26 songs from the 1880′s all classical.  Now you can make your own CD to lull your kids to sleep!  Hope this works for you!
