I made these over the weekend and they are awesome! I cut the recipe in half and it still made a ton. I drizzled milk and white chocolate on top and it adds a little extra sweetness. I am definitely going to be making these in the future.

I’m wondering if you could add chocolate chips??? Or would I be better off melting milk chocolate chips and dipping the cookie in it?

How excited as I!! When I was 9 we lived in a very poor neighborhood. There was this lady living across the alley from us. She would invite my sister and I over to curl our hair in rags and make waffle cookies. I have been looking for this recipe for 42 years! Thank you for making my day. We are making these right now. I halved the recipe because I only had 4 eggs and we still have a TON of cookies! These are super yummy too. I added some Craisins to a few and that was great too.
