Weekly Meal Deal: Crock Pot Tip Roast with Mushroom Gravy

by Amanda @ A Few Short Cuts on November 5, 2009

DSCN2780I am trying really hard to stay on top of everything. Family, Schooling, blog, housework, shopping.   There are days when I just want to crawl in a hole.  I know some of you feel the same way.  So,  we have another super easy and delicious Crock Pot Meal.  Crock Pot Tip Roast with Mushroom Gravy .

I have to say that this was the most tender roast, but it didn’t fall apart.  It was perfect.  It also has a wonderful flavor.  What a great meal for a cool fall day! Not to mention that it made the house smell super!

I took the easy way out and served it with some freezer items.  I had roast potatoes, and broccoli.  I also served it with a small salad.   There is plenty of roast here for several people, or for left overs.

Add 1 tbsp cornstarch or flour to drippings.  Wisk in and turn crock-pot up to high.   You could also transfer the drippings to a small sauce pot and make the gravy on the stove.DSCN2773

I really like the way you are doing your post , very nicely done!
I just made your apple dumpling master piece today and I really have enjoyed it , I wish I had made more.

Question ( sorry it is out of the blue)
what do you use to bake pound cakes in , if you do not have a bundt pan?
