I embellished it by adding apple slices I cooked in a skillet with a tablespoon of butter and a few tablespoons of brown sugar. Cooked the apples for about 5-10 mins and then added those cooked apples to the chicken when serving. You can likely add the apples to the slow cooker but I didn't want them to overcook to mush so I did them separately at the last min. Tried this recipe….easy and *very* good.
