I follow you on facebook. My trick to potty train my oldest was to bribe him with Candy. And eventually after a few days he didnt need the candy anymore. My youngest has been a different story. He is Autistic and just isnt getting it yet. Although he liked when I tried to bribe him with candy!

Oh, and our potty trick (peepee was fine, it was the other we had issues with) was a sticker chart (she got to pick out which one if she went) AND we had a pee pee (what we called the potty) party. We would get snacks out and call up grandma and my best friend and tell them all about it. They would get excited too and then it would make my girls want to keep doing it.

My tips for potty training aren’t going so well for myself yet. I have tried the charts with stickers, not much luck. I have also tried the bribing with the reward being a fish. My daughter really wants the fish, but I guess not enough to keep her pull-ups dry:-( Maybe one day soon.

We have potty trained three of our four kids. It was helpful to buy our kids new underwear of their choice to get them excited about being a big boy/girl. Also, we used underwear at home and pull-ups if we were going somewhere that we might not be able to get to the bathroom in time.

I don’t have any real tips but potty training can/is frustrating-having patience does help :)

I am an email subscriber. Headed into potty training girl #2. My tip is to not rush it–when they are ready, they are ready!

My daughter hated the “wet and cold” feel of a dirty diaper. Ironically she loves eating ice. So we bribed her with that. :) Cheap, eh?

Hey – we are potty training now and it is SUPER FRUSTRATING for me (BTW It wasn’t that I didn’t want to enter rainbow brite!! It was that every time I thought about entering it I was short on time then when I had time i forgot to enter it :( I sorry!!)

My best potty training tip is to be consistant. and find some aspect of the entire thing that your child LOVES. my child loves washing her hands. So when she starts begging to go wash her hands I tell her she has to potty first and it encourages her to potty in the potty instead of her diaper.

We will be training # 5 soon… All I can say is they are all completely different! One was done before 20 months and one was almost 4 years. Our current baby might be an earlly one as well! (fingers crossed)

The easiest way to train my boys was to put a few cheerios in the toilet and let them aim and shoot!
