Publix Overage and Disney Goodies

by Amanda @ A Few Short Cuts on February 7, 2010

I hit Publix yesterday to see if they had any cute water bottle for the kids for Disney.  I had Knox coupons in hand and was ready for the overage :)   Here is how it worked.

I bought…

  • Disney Princess Canteen $5.69
  • Disney Tinkerbell Canteen $5.69
  • Disney Cars Canteen $5.69
  • 6 Knox Gelatin ($1.39 each) $8.34
  • 2 Huggies baby wipes ($2.99 each) $5.98

I used…

  • 6 ($4.00 off any Knox Product) coupons
  • 2 ($1.50 off Huggies wipes) From Kimberly Clark Book (Publix Q)
  • 2($0.75 off Huggies Wipes) Printable from Coupons.com last month

My total was

$2.89 +$1.61 (tax)

$4.50

I Saved $28.50!

Now, the kids have refillable water bottle for Disney!  No, $3 bottled water for us!

Yeah for you … my publix does NOT allow overages … :( Bummer, but free is still good, right! Gonna have to make the ‘portion controled’ cheesecake that you posted!!

Wow! You did great! Hope you have a fun time at Disney. We are on our way home from there. It rained on us several days. Ponchos are 87 cents at your favorite place…Walmart. Haha! Have a great week!

Ah…Don’t get me started about walmart :) LOL! We have our fingers crossed about the weather! We are leaving Monday night late, to go see family first. So, I will be gone a week. Don’t worry! I have the posts covered. A Few Short Cuts must go on!
