I hit up Publix today! I had been very good. I hadn’t been all week. Now my kids were saying things like, “Mom, are you going to the store today?” , and “What do we have for lunch?” I even got the ever famous, “We don’t have any milk!”
I guessed it was about time. I gathered all of my coupons last night and went in with a plan! I spent $114.71 and saved $112.69! About 50/50! Keep in mind that I had to buy things like GF Pretzels at $7.49 a bag, and GF Bread at $5.49 a loaf! If I didn’t have to buy specialty foods my total would have been much lower! Darn kids!
The most exciting part of my trip was the General Mills Promo, the mac and cheese, and Mahatma rice. Here is what I did.
I bought…
- (12) Progresso Soups BOGO $2.29 ($13.74)
- (6) Pillsbury Rolls 3/$5 ($10)
- (2) Green Giant Frozen Veggies $1 each ($2)
- (5) Kraft Mac and Cheese $0.59 ($2.95)
- (2) Small Mahatma Rice $.87 ($1.74)
The above would have cost $30.43…but…
I used
- $5 off 20 general mills products Publix coupon
- -(3) $1/4 Progresso soups Publix Coupon
- -(4) $1.10/3 Progresso Soups
- -(2) -$.50/2 Crescents PRINT & PRINT
- -(2) $0.95 wyb Pillsbury sweet rolls
- -(2) $1.00 wyb 3 pillsbury rolls (Publix coupon)
- - $1.00 wyb 5 Kraft Mac and Cheese
- - (2) $0.75 wyb Mahatma Rice (no longer available)
Dropping it down to $10.63!
Hows that for couponing!
