If you have any thoughts on good scenarios that don’t include the backpack, please share! Just because I personally try to avoid scenarios or moneymakers that involve store gift cards.

Alternatively, I know that sometimes with Staples rebates, when you’re on their website submitting your easy rebates, sometimes they’ll let you switch your rebate to a check. Any ideas if this would be possible with a store gift card rebate?

Thanks, I’m definitely taking advantage one way or another!

Rose,

There is no way to tell until the rebate is live. I wish I knew.

As for the other scenario, since the coupon is for a $50 purchase, you would have to buy a lot of the “cheap” school supplies to use it. There really isn’t a “great” scenario unless you are getting a big item this week.

It still makes for some great back to school deals!

Sure Carmen!! The easy rebate is a check you get in the mail for cash. The Staples Gift card can only be used at Staples! Hope this helps!

I so wish I had a staples closer. The nearest one is over 30 minutes from anything else I go to!
