This time of year is the best time to stock up on Holiday baking supplies. I love to make use of the mini snickers that go on clearance after Halloween, or I buy a stash with my coupons. You will love how easy AND good these mini snicker pies are. Last year I used Phyllo cups and snicker bars. I sliced the snicker bar into pieces and put a chunk in each cup. Then I put them in the oven for about 5-10 minutes or until the chocolate is melting down. This year I decided to try something new. Phyllo cups are expensive and I haven’t found any coupons. This year tried using pie crust, and it was perfect.

I rolled out the pie crust and used something to press out circles.

I placed them into the mini muffin pan and pressed them down to form a mini pie!

Then place a mini snicker into each one. This was so much easier than cutting up a whole bar, but if you don’t have clearance candy, you might save by buying the big bar.

I put them in to the oven at 350 for about 8 minutes. Just keep an eye on them because I left them in too long and they were bubbling over. This makes them hard to remove. Try to take them out before they start to bubble. Let them cool and they should pop right out. Your kitchen will smell like Heaven! I think I even like the pie crust version better. I was able to get about 26 pieces out of one pie crust. This is what we had for dessert tonight. I dare you to eat just one. These will go perfect for in a tin for Holiday gifts. The best part is that it’s super easy for your kids to help.
