Tidy Time: How to Clean a Lampshade

I have had this problem before.  You get a nice new lamp with a pretty fabric lampshade.  Before long it is covered in dust.  What to do, what to do?

I have a tip for you!

Use a lint roller to remove dust and dirt from your lampshades. Roll it up and down the lampshade. Lint rollers are also good for removing pet hair from upholstery. Get the kids in on the act and let them use the lint roller on table lamps and furniture upholstery.  Super simple, and makes for a clean house. Plus, teaches the kids responsibility!
