I am a firm believer in you get what you give. I try to always put my best face forward, smile, help others when possible, and tell someone when they do a good job. It is so much nicer to hear a compliment than a complaint!
Many US companies hear their share of complaints. Why not contact your favorite food companies and pay them a compliment?! If you do, you may be pleasantly surprised! Just by taking the minute of your time to fill out the contact form with a compliment, you may very well find coupons in your mail box.
Many companies reward loyal consumers with coupons, even some for free products. Do a search for your favorite brands. I did one for Heinz. I filled out their online contact form, and a couple weeks later I had several $0.55 Heinz product coupons in my mailbox. Hey it is worth a try. At the least you will make someone’s day better!

haha I just started trying this. I splurged on some of those Dark Chocolate flavored almonds from Emerald Nuts and emailed them telling them so, plus that I really enjoy them since they have a good flavor to make them a snack, and not even a rich sweet one.
Also emailed Ortega because we really do love their taco sauce and buy only that kind. I got a generic email reply to watch out for coupons in the newspaper or on their website. So that was a little disheartening haha but we shall see!
