Zaycon Foods: Chicken Breasts Review

I love saving money. Meat is one of those items that is difficult to save on. You will be paying retail for meat…well, unless you have you own farm. Not anymore!

The great people at Zaycon Foods contacted me a few weeks ago. Zaycon Foods is a great company that conducts local sales on high quality straight from the farm chicken and beef. They can offer great prices because they sell to you in bulk. How much is bulk? Well, I received a 40 lb box of chicken breasts!

Now, before you gasp and say, “What on Earth are you going to do with 40 lbs of chicken?” Let me break it down.

Here is what my box looked like. There were 46 chicken breasts in the box…yes I counted. We have a big chest freezer, so I packaged each breast into individual ziploc bags and threw them in the freezer. These breasts are huge and 3 easily feed my family of 5 for dinner.

Now I don’t know about you, but my buy it now price for chicken is $1.99 LB or lower. Zaycon aims to sell chicken breast for $1.49 LB! That is a huge savings! If you don’t have a large freezer, or a large family you can always share the purchase with a friend.
