When Snyder’s of Hanover Pretzels asked me for a pretzel recipe using their pretzels I was so excited! First of all I am a pretzel fanatic. They are my go to snack almost any day of the week. And this time of the year when my kids are bringing home every cold under the sun, they are my ultimate comfort food when I don’t feel good!
Second of all, Snyder’s of Hanover makes a gluten free pretzel that is not only delicious but affordable too. I can buy one bag of pretzels for my entire family and not feel guilty about how much they cost, and know that everyone is healthy.
Now, knowing this shortcutter, I am not happy with sharing just one pretzel recipe. Pretzels are so versatile. Here are a few of my favorite pretzel recipes.
If you are looking for a great snack for your superbowl party you can use them in a homemade snack mix like this Sweet & Spicy Chex Mix. This chex mix has such a great flavor, and would make a great addition to any get together because it has something for everyone. The Sweet and spicy flavor mix turns this chex mix a little more grown up.
One of my absolute favorites is this Strawberry Pretzel salad. This is perfect for anytime of year or any night of the week. You just can’t go wrong with this southern classic dessert.
If you are looking for something that is perfect for the kids. You can also pick the kids favorite ingredients and let them make their own snack mixes for their lunch box, or just for their bag while on the go! I always keep a couple little baggies of these in the car for those emergency snacks while I am running errands.
Pretzels make a great snack, and they are perfect for so many different types of recipes. I have even crushed pretzels and use them instead of bread crumbs in recipes! The add a great crunch on top of casseroles and a unique flavor as the breading on many dishes. Head over to Snyder’s of Hanover to see what other great varieties of pretzels they have available!
