Just a heads up for fellow CVS Shoppers.  CVS is ending the Green Bag Tag Extra Savings Program.  The tags sold for $0.99 and allowed your to earn Extra Care Bucks for using your own bags when you shopped.

If you currently have a GREEN BAG TAG, CVS has stated that you’ll be able to use it for a few more months. However, the Green Bag Tags are no longer available to purchase at CVS.

How do you feel about this change?

I loved this program. I always bring my own bags and it rewards customers who do and shop there frequently. I hate that companies start programs then take them away. Now I am just mad. It’s like subway giving reward points than stopping that program. We stopped going to subway and now I will go to cvs less.

  2. Grumpy. I moved to a state where no store but CVS rewards reusable bags and no one around here uses them. I want to see more people using reusable bags not less. So I am a bit miffed that they are ending this program, as it was helpful to the environment and the local community.
