Valentine’s is around the corner and everyone is looking for a way to express their love. My hubby laughs when I mention it because he says he loves me every day not just on February 14th. We have been married for almost 15 years, so I guess I will just let him keep right on handling Valentine’s his way. I think he has been doing pretty good so far. 😉
I love to give a card with a special handwritten note. Not only does it show the ones you care that you love them, but there is something special about taking the time to write down how you feel. Hallmark always has the best cards. I feel like they are reading my thoughts sometimes . I can always seem to find the perfect card that says just the right thing. Then I just add a little personal note and it’s perfect!
Years from now, they can look back on that card with your feelings written in it and smile, remembering that time in their life and what a special part of it you are. There is also something romantic about getting a Love note from time to time from your significant other. It just gives you butterflies in your stomach all over again and reminds you why you fell in love in the first place.
I make it a point to get a special Hallmark card for my kids every Valentines Day. They are my heart! I want them to know that they are my Valentines. I also want them to know they are always loved, and should be loved every minute of every day. I think it is an important example to set to show them how they should be treated. They love it even more when I get them a card that plays music. Hallmark has the best selection of fun cards for kids.
This Valentines #PutYourHeartToPaper for those closest to you. Hallmark filmed some amazing stories about how others Put their Heart to Paper. Check out this one.
