I am going to sound really old, but back in the day ….when you like a page on Facebook you actually saw their posts in your newsfeed. CRAZY, right?! LOL A sad but true fact in the social media world is that even if you like a page on Facebook you will not necessarily see their posts.
Because Facebook wants people to pay. For example: AFewShortCuts Facebook page has close to 30,000 fans and this week….my most popular post 660 people saw. How sad is that? It’s not just A Few Short Cuts but other pages that are suffering too.
How do you fix it?
There are a couple things you can do to insure that you see the content you want on Facebook.
#1 Be Active: If you like my page, click the like button on posts, comment, click on links, etc. The more you do that the more you will see of it in your feed.
#2 See it First: There is a new feature that should help many see the content that they want.
Go to the Facebook Page you would like to see and hover your mouse over the like button. This only works on a desktop. A drop down box will appear. Click on “See First”. HOPEFULLY, you will begin to see that pages content first when you view your Facebook feed.
I hope this helps you see the posts from the pages that are most important to you. Have a Facebook hack or tip? Feel free to share it in the comments below.
