It never fails! You are trying to make a recipe and it calls for bread crumbs. You either…
A. Don’t have bread crumbs
B. Eat gluten free and need a substitute.
C. Don’t want to spend a fortune on specialty gluten free bread crumbs.
I have a shortcut for you that takes seconds to toss together. Just keep a box of Rice Chex in the back of the pantry in case of an emergency. Place them in a food processor to create crumbs, or place in a plastic bag and take out all the days anger on them. Season according to what you are using them for. BAM! That is it!
I use these Gluten Free Bread Crumbs for my meatballs, meatloaf, chicken breading, etc, and I always get compliments. No one knows that I have used chex instead of bread crumbs. It is a perfectly simple solution for an everyday problem.
