My kids have been asking if we are going on vacation this Summer.  As usual our budget is tight, but we are still planning a getaway a little closer to home. Well, I have been an iPhone, iPad, iPod girl till now.  When Verizon gave me this Motorola Xyboard I was so excited to try something new! I really wanted to see how it compared, and to have a tool that was just mine!  The kids ARE NOT going to take it to play games and watch videos. 

Well, this evening we just had entirely too much fun with it…not watching videos but making a video.  Who knew that it could play music and record a video at the same time.  BTW….my face is bright red posting this but we had a blast!

First things first, for those that saw my post this morning I am in Chicago meeting with Verizon Wireless because I am one of their Verizon Midwest Savvy Saver Moms.  What does that mean? Not only do I get to share Verizon Deals with you, I also get to share how Verizon is helping me with all of my little short cuts!

This is my first trip to Chicago, and it will probably be the last time I choose to drive in it (except on the way home). I have driven in many cities ( Las Vegas, San Diego, Orlando ) Chicago you take the cake for the scariest, most confusing ever! Besides taking 10 years off of my life driving here (LOL).  So far it has been great!

I told you guys about the Pampers Team USA Sweepstakes the other day.

Pampers has released a line of diapers to celebrate the Olympics! The Pampers Limited Edition “USA” diapers and wipes combine utility and aesthetics, so little ones can explore and conquer their world through play, while also amping up team pride during the London 2012 Olympic Games.

The diapers feature an adorable “USA” logo print combined with red, white and blue stars and stripe designs while the wipes packaging pays tribute to Team USA with a similar design. Pampers Limited Edition “USA” diapers and wipes designs will be available in mid-April while supplies last at select stores nationwide. The diapers are available in Cruisers sizes 3 through 5.

I have 3 kids who are (like their mother), very forgetful.  We are always forgetting something or leaving something behind.  That is why I love kiddo tags.  They can label their stuff with their names that way their stuff can find it’s way back to them.
