Hi Amanda! Muffins were divine! Made them for the fam today! Used all my bargains from Publix, of course. Wanted to tell you that I added some really ripe bananas and it was sooo yummy! Tried to leave it as a comment, but couldn’t for some reason…oh well!
I want you to know that I really love reading your posts. I am especially thankful for your recipes posts. I only buy cookbooks that have pictures as I am a very visual person. I like the fact that you do your recipes in step by step format. The pictures are awesome. It really helps me.
I am a teacher and I coach high school softball and have two children going in a thousand directions every night someone has something somewhere. I get home at 5:45 pm and one of my children has to be at basketball at 6pm. So as yu can see not a lot of time to cook. Which I like to do, so I make some of your meals on the weekends and have them ready for my husband to warm up while he is doing homework with the kids. Anyway my whole point is that I really like this site.
Really love your website. I have just recently found you- I have always used coupons and done some rebates when I can. I am intrigued with the myalice.com / olay rebate you wrote about. Do you just use your packing slip from your shipment as your receipt to turn in with the rebate form? Thanks for all your good info-
Julie
I can’t find the recipe for the crockpot chicken w/ pineapple. I forget the name, but it has something else in it that I can’t remember!! Help! We loved it and I want to make it again!
I was just looking over the new and improved site, and notice TAMMY was the winner of the apron giveaway. Tammy ME?
I found you via Nicole’s Nickels today. Couldn’t have come at a better time! I’m the working mom in the house, my husband is a student and we have three children, one income and an almost quarterly student loan is thrown at us. I have been saying for too long that we really need to budget our grocery trips. Sometimes, even when I’m tracking the amount I’m spending, my jaw still drops at check out. I’m printing your recipes like crazy right now and am very grateful for your blog. I’ve subscribed via email and am officially your newest stalker! ; )
love your site but we don’t have publix here (missouri)….do you have any sister sites that are similar that can give our local deals along with your fabulous meal ideas? THANKS for all your efforts…it’s a great site but i just can’t use it like you intend since we can’t match the deals you post….really hoping that you can help with other website suggestions! THX again!
Rachel,
Head over to http://www.kansascitymamas.com You will find exactly what you are looking for there! Make sure you let Kelly know I sent you!
Hi. Just found your site yesterday – I am a newbie to couponing and have been following several sites now. I was pleased to find your wheat/gluten-free resources as well – my 12 year old daughter has Celiac. I have a bread machine which helps alot to make her breads and pizza dough. I also came across a great easy MICROWAVE recipe to make tasty hamburger and hotdog buns if you are interested. Thanks for all your work and helpful information! What state are you located in?
Some of my favorite things I have learned about from or through my children. Such is the case with the Betty Crocker Gluten Free Bisquick. How about seeing what you can do to communicate to the “powers that be” that there is an increasing population of Americans and Canadians in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. It would be great if their gluten free products were available here in Costco, Sams Club, and WalMart. I have found some of their regular items here; but not the gluten free yet. The only gluten free products I have found here are from Bob’s Red Mill. I made biscuits this morning with the gluten free Bisquick and they were good! I didn’t feel so guilty after eating one of the Gluten Free Bisquick biscuits either, which is a very good thing! An even bigger plus is the fact that I won’t feel all yucky from it like I would from traditional biscuits made with wheat flour. As you know, I was one of those wierd babies who was allergic to everything and your Grandma was unable to nurse me. Another important fact I learned from you: You never outgrow an allergy.
So, thanks for all the great information, thank you for your many kindnesses, and thank you for your love. It shines through in everything you do! I had to laugh when I saw your 30 days of giving challenge. You don’t need a challenge…you give all the time!
Love,
Mom
Hi Amanda,
Hope your holidays were nice. I just wanted to let you know that I still didn’t receive the mop that I had won a few months ago. I think you told me the manufacturer said end of November. Just a little bummed, wanted to try it out. Thanks, Cathy S.
Hi. Did you do the drawing for the 30 day giveaway? I was just curious and yes, excited!
Thanks!
Yes Su I did pick the winner and notified her. I will do a post about it this afternoon.
