We love smoothies at my house. At least once a day someone has the blender out whipping up some type of smoothie or protein shake. That means we go through a lot of frozen fruit and bananas. My kids aren’t always so good about measuring what they use, so I started making these DIY Healthy Smoothie Packs for them. Now they just grab one, dump it in the blender, and juice or milk and go. It makes having a Healthy Smoothie in minutes simple!
You only need bananas and your frozen fruit of choice along with some freezer bags.
I added a half of banana and about 1 cup of frozen fruit to each bag. Then, just pop them in the door of the freezer. They are ready to go when the kids are. This makes having a healthy smoothie so much easier! It is a great way for the kids to get their fruit and enjoy a refreshing treat!
