It is hunting season, and while the puppies aren’t ready to head into the woods yet, my hubby is. I am the kind of person who likes to be connected in case of an emergency. I hate sending him out into the woods with a bunch of other hunters not knowing if he is ok. I have to be practical though. There aren’t typically cell towers in the middle of no-where and this is Iowa. I do not have high hopes for coverage.
So we headed out for the middle of no-where. Quite literally! I always have my phone with me because I am a workaholic and seemingly work 24/7. That is an intervention story for another day. I was very surprised that while my hubby was unloading his gear my phone pinged with a new email. SERIOUSLY?? I looked down at my Droid Razr M and had 3 bars. It was not 5, but as I looked around all I saw was trees, so I am not really sure where my signal was even coming from. I was just grateful I had one.
For comparison, I pulled out my AT&T iPhone. Dead as a doornail. Not so much as a single bar. I was relieved to have a phone with such an amazing signal. I gave hubby the Droid Razr M so I knew he would be able to call me in case of an emergency. I also knew that he couldn’t really hurt it. The back of this thing is made out of kevlar for crying out loud.
The point of my story is…Verizon has amazing coverage. In places that you would least expect it. Not only is the Verizon 4G LTE coverage lightning fast, but it is everywhere I go. Even in Iowa. In this day and age when being connected with friends and family is so important, you will not catch me without my Verizon gear.
I am a Verizon Wireless Midwest Savvy saver and was given the Motorola Droid Razr M & Motorola Xyboard and 6 months of unlimited data to review. All gushing opinions are 100% my own.
