I could possibly be one of the last people on Earth not to try a meal delivery service, but there is a first time for everything! I was recently introduced to Terra’s Kitchen and offered to try their service so I could share my experience with you!
I liked the idea of Terra’s Kitchen over some of the other meal delivery services I have seen because Terra’s Kitchen offers fresh and organic options and labels their meals gluten free, dairy free and more. That is a big deal in this house since my kids have food allergies!
I logged onto TerrasKitchen.com to place my order. They gave me a couple options. I chose 2 dinners for 4 people, but when I got my choices I actually ordered 1 meal for 4 and 2 meals for 2 along with a couple extras.
This huge Vessel arrived at my door on my scheduled delivery day! It was HEAVY! Even the Fedex guy struggled a little. So it is worth noting you might want to have them put it inside for you if you can’t lift that much.
Once I opened it there were all of these trays full of cartons of pre-cut, pre measured foods! Plus ice blocks. The trays just slide out for easy food removal.
Almost like a little mini-fridge. Once you have all the food out, you just peel off the label and place it outside your door! Terra’s Kitchen has already scheduled a pick up for your vessel! No worries on your end!
So how much fits in that vessel? This is what was in my box! I had ground beef, chicken, bacon, veggies, tortillas, nuts, and more. All chopped and ready to be turned into meals!
I did want to note that all of the meat in my box was Organic Grass Fed Beef, and Hormone Free chicken. These were quality ingredients!
These ingredients all come with these full color step by step recipe cards. So you know exactly how to prepare your meal!
The first meal I made was Pan Seared Chicken And Crisp Haricots Vert. I will admit that I was a bit worried about the portion sizes. However, once I made up the plates there was plenty for everyone! This recipe might not have been something I would have normally made but it was surprisingly delicious! Tasted like it came from an expensive restaurant, but really only took about 20 minutes in my kitchen.
The next night we had the TERRAchiladas. This was the one meal I had bought for a family of 4. The cooking was a breeze because everything was prepped. The biggest mess I made was in the blender making the green verde sauce. Overall it was simple to prepare and everyone loved it!
All in all we had enough food for 8 portions, different meals of course. I also ordered extra bacon, extra pico de gallo, and some fruit to fill our box. My total was $100 shipped. That works out to almost $12.50 a plate. Keep in mind, I had to do no shopping, chopping or measuring, and the recipes were provided. Plus the ingredients were high end and organic.
I think that Terra’s Kitchen would be a perfect meal service for a newly wed, or someone just starting out on their own. The recipes and ingredients would help them really feel comfortable in the kitchen while eating well!
Terra’s Kitchen is also a fantastic way to splurge for at home date nights. Getting the food and taste of a fancy restaurant in the comfort of your own home. Considering the quality and convenience of the ingredients you are truly getting a great value! The fact that you always get FREE SHIPPING is a plus too!
If you have been looking for a quality FRESH healthy food delivery service with gluten free and paleo options Terra’s Kitchen should be at the top of your list. I was so impressed with all of the ingredients and recipes I pulled from the vessel!
