Peanut Butter Chocolate Crispy Treats
light corn syrup or agave nectar
Rice Krispies or other puffed rice cerealTopping
Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
Grease a 13x9 Pan. If you like thicker treats you can use a 9x9 pan.
Place corn syrup and sugar into 3-quart saucepan.
Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until sugar dissolves and mixture begins to boil.
Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter and vanilla.
Place rice krispies in a large bowl and pour peanut butter/sugar mix over them. Stirring until all of the rice krispies are coated.
Press mixture into greased pan and set aside.
In a small sauce pan melt chocolate and peanut butter together of low heat until it is smooth enough to spread over treats.
Use a spatula to spread evenly.
Top with sprinkles or other toppings while chocolate is still melted.
Let stand until firm. (Refrigerate for faster results)
Cut into 2 inch bars
