So during the holidays I am just as guilty as the next person of running through Starbucks and picking up one of those super expensive holiday drinks. Let’s face it, they taste good, they warm you up, they give you a little pep in your step, and put a smile on your face. This Copycat Starbucks Caramel Brûlée Latte does all those things at a fraction of the price and from the comfort of your own home.
I have my own little holiday drink station set up. My Keurig 2.0, Coffee Mugs, Coffee syrups, and toppings. Of course I have my great selection of K-Cups thanks to Cross Country Cafe, including the Starbucks K-Cups.
I popped in a Starbucks Cafe Verona Dark Roast Coffee K-Cup into my keurig and brewed it at 8 oz. This will be strong enough to mimic the espresso used at Starbucks.
Now for some of that Homemade Caramel Coffee Syrup. You can totally use those store bought flavored syrups, but I like to make my own.
Now comes my favorite part. I took about 1 tbsp of whipped cream and mixed it in my coffee to give it that latte color.
Now top it with some more whipped cream and some raw sugar. PS. You can totally use this Coconut Whipped Cream if you are avoiding milk. You know the kind with the bigger sugar crystals. YUM! You could even go crazy and drizzle it with caramel sauce. You know….if you can handle that kind of amazing!
- Starbucks Dark Verona Roast K-Cup
- Whipped Cream
- Caramel Drink Syrup
- Raw Sugar
- Caramel Sauce (optional)
- Brew the Starbucks Verona Dark Roast K-Cup at 8 oz.
- Once brewed mix in 1-2 oz of Caramel Drink Syrup, and 1 tbsp of whipped cream. Stir. Top with more whipped cream and sprinkle with come raw sugar.
- Drizzle with caramel sauce if desired.
