5 Bathroom Cleaning Hacks to Keep It Spotless

Hamper
This hack may sound obvious, but for my kids, not so much. A hamper is an essential thing in the bathroom to keep all of those dirty clothes and towels of off the floor. Do you have a small bathroom? You can hang a laundry bag on the back of the door to catch the dirty items. Empty it every day or every other day to keep your bathroom fresh.
Car Wax
One of my favorite cleaning hacks. Clean your shower and bathroom sinks very well. Once they are clean, and you have dried them, follow up with some car wax. Yes, car wax. The car wax adds a protective coat to the tub and sink that helps repel dirt. I do this probably once every three months.
You can also use the rain repellent windshield cleaner on glass shower doors to keep them spot free. The water doesn’t bead up to cause the deposit stains. Trust me, it works!
Shower Wipe Down
Once your shower is waxed and clean, get everyone in the habit of wiping it down when they finish showering. I have my kids turn the shower on to rinse it out quick and then take the towel that they just used and gently wipe out the shower. Just wiping it out once a day works wonders for keeping the shower clean and preventing the need for heavy duty scrub downs.
Declutter
When was the last time you went through that bathroom cabinet and all of the things that were in it? Be real with yourself about what you use on a day to day basis and throw out what is not needed. You will free up a ton of space and feel less cluttered while you are in your bathroom.
Cleaning Wipes

They are so useful to wipe down the sinks quickly when someone has finished brushing their teeth or washing their face.
