Fruit Infused Water
Summer is here and it is getting HOT outside. When the temperature rises you need to drink plenty of water, but it doesn’t taste “exciting”. Liven up your water for yourself, and your kids by infused it with fruit! Not only does the water take on the great flavors, but you aren’t pumping yourself with dyes or sugars! WIN- WIN!
The kids love Fruit Infused Water just as much as I do. The girls love snacking on the fruit when they are done with the water. Makes it so much more interesting! My favorite combo is strawberry and lemon.
Fruit Infused WaterPrint Recipe
- 16 oz mason jar
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup fruit
- 1/4 cup ice
- 2 mint leaves optional
- Place desired fruit in the bottom of your jar. Pour water in and stir fruit around. Press on the fruit lightly with a spoon to release some of the flavors.
- Add mint leaves if desired.
- Refrigerate for at least one hour, I prefer overnight.
- Add ice just before serving.
I have been loving infused water! It makes getting my daily H2O so much more fun!
