Simple Sweet Tea Mint Julep
My Keurig comes to the rescue in the mornings when I stagger out and start grasping for a coffee cup, and pray that the coffee that pours out is strong enough to make up for the fact that I am not a morning person. However, I bet you never thought it could come to the rescue for a cocktail! Hello Simple Sweet Tea Mint Julep.
When you think Mint Julep you think long southern drawls, front porch swings, and big derby hats. What better to pair it with than sweet tea?!
I Love these Celestial Seasonings Southern Sweet Brew Over Ice K-Cups! I placed some crushed mint leaves in the bottom of my glass and topped it with ice.
I let that tea brew and added a little bourbon…just enough to give it a kick.
Top with a fresh lime or lemon slice and some mint leaves. BAM! Cocktail in minutes. It’s just that simple! Don’t forget to check out the great k-cup deals at Cross Country Cafe. They will keep you stocked up on that morning brew and these brew over ice k-cups!
