I got the kids together to help me make chocolate covered spoons for gift giving this Christmas. They are so easy to make and give wrapped with some coffee or a carton of this International Delight Hot Cocoa. The kids didn’t know they would be enjoying some cocoa and one of their spoons too!
We just dipped a plastic spoon into some melted chocolate. Then topped them with either…
- crushed peppermints
- dried mini marshmallows
- sprinkles
Once they were coated, we put them on a parchment lined baking sheet and let them set. I popped them in the freezer so they would set faster.
I am pretty sure the smile says it all! Happiness is International Delight Hot Chocolate & a chocolate spoon to stir it with.
It certainly put a smile on these 3 faces this rainy Saturday. It put a smile on my face too!! We shared giggles, stories, wish lists, and most importantly, time together.
Not only did we get to enjoy time together, but we made some amazing chocolate spoons to spread the delight to our friends and family!
