Put all of the ingredients together in a big mason jar and shake to make sure it is mixed up really well. I used about 10 drops of oil per jar.

The next step is just to sprinkle it over the area you want to clean and leave it on for an hour. I try to do this while the kids and the dog are outside. You can also take a cloth and rub it in a bit, but I didn’t. I just let it do its thing.

After about an hour, everything gets vacuumed up. Enjoy the fresh carpet!
