DIY Bath Bunnies
Supplies
- Washcloths
- Googly eyes
- Cotton balls
- Craft Glue
- Ribbon
I started out with some new wash clothes. Walmart had some great Spring colors in 8 packs for $4.
Unfold a wash cloth. Then refold it into a large triangle.
Start with the top and roll it down tightly until it looks like this.
We are then going to carefully fold it in half like this.
We are then going to bed back the “ears” and hold everything together with a ponytail holder. You now have your bunny. We just have to give him his eyes…nose….and tail.
Just use craft glue to attach the googly eyes. I used a cotton ball and cut it in pieces for the nose and the tail. Then I used the craft glue to attach them.
Finally, I took some decorative ribbon and tied it around the bunnies head to cover the hair tie. VOILA! You have a super cute bath bunny! Final cost: about $0.75 a bunny! Not bad for a cute addition to those easter baskets!
Spa Basket Idea
You can make a spa themed Easter basket and fill it with a bath bunny, decorative soaps, bubble bath, headbands, nail polish, toe separators and more. This is a great idea for a teen or tween! Plus most of the items can be purchased at the dollar store making it very affordable!
