DIY Chalkboard Coasters
Supplies
- Plain White Tiles ($0.13 each at Home Depot)
- Chalkboard Spray Paint
- Chalk
- Adhesive felt stickers(optional)
Directions –
#1. Make sure your tiles are clean. Lay down a large piece of paper or an old sheet in a well-ventilated area. Spray the Rust-oleum paint evenly over the tiles covering them completely with paint.
#2. Let dry several hours and repeat the step one evenly coating them with paint. Again, let try for several hours – I’d even suggest overnight. You don’t want them chipping or smudging if they are not completely dry.
#3 If you want to keep your tiles from scratching your furniture, add these adhesive felt stickers to the bottom of each coaster.
Voila! Easy and simple! To clean, if you cannot find a chalkboard eraser (they are HARD to find now), simply use a damp paper towel or even baby wipes to clean them.
These are great for parties, housewarming gift, or just for your home and a great cup of coffee!
