Back when I started AFewShortcuts.com my youngest daughter, Audrey, was only 1. Now she is 9 and she is a huge help in the arts and crafts department. She is currently a fan of popsicle stick art, and while it took awhile to convince me that her obsession with popsicles and hot glue a good thing, I am totally hooked now! This Popsicle Stick Reindeer Wall Art is her newest creation and I love it!

How to
Lay out your popsicle sticks on a flat surface to create the deer shape. We used 24 popsicle sticks to make our reindeer. There is no right or wrong way to do this. While we were crafting we also laid some popsicle sticks out and created giant snow flakes….more on that later.
After laying them out to get an idea of how it will all go together start hot gluing. We did the octagon for the reindeer’s head. Then attached additional popsicle sticks for the antlers.
Once everything is glued together it’s time to paint. Paint the head white and the antlers gold. Then hot glue the red pom to the center for a “Rudolph” reindeer.
We used some red bakers twine to hang our Reindeer Wall Art and even strung a little bell to hang from it! While I would like to take credit for this one, it was all Audrey!
This Popsicle Stick Reindeer Wall Art is the most adorable kid craft we have made so far this year! It doesn’t take long and we enjoyed some Homemade Hot Cocoa and Cookies while we were getting creative so it’s a win-win!
