In our house, my kid's favorite holiday is Christmas followed by Shark Week. LOL, I am not sure Shark Week is technically a holiday, but because it falls during Summer break, we have so much fun making fun treats and crafts to go with it. Shark week fun has become a family tradition. This year we will be sipping on our Shark Slushies while we take in the latest shark adventures.
All you need for these yummy shark slushies is some snow cone syrup and ice along with a blender. I usually make homemade snow cone syrup, but I am taking a shortcut and bought some while we were at the store the other day. Either way works perfectly.
Toss the ice, blue syrup and water in the blender and let 'er rip.
Once it is in the cup, I drizzled a small amount of red snow cone syrup on the top. Hey, it is shark week after all. Now sit back and enjoy your shark slushies!

Download and Print Shark Fin Straw Toppers
My favorite part of the Shark Slushies, the shark fin straws! I bought some blue paper straws at the store and printed out these shark fins on some card stock. Just cut them out and glue or tape them right on your straws! These make any drink more fun. You don't have to only use them on these slushies! You can download and print your own below.
