Thinking of planning a vacation to the most relaxing part of the sunshine state? Find out The Best Time of Year to visit Daytona Beach Florida.

Are you ready to kick back on the beach? You need to make some time for yourself to unwind at Daytona Beach. Take it from this Native Floridian, Daytona Beach is stunning and you don’t want to miss this getaway destination! Plus, the best time of year to visit Daytona Beach is in the Fall and Winter! A Fall Beach Escape is just what the doctor ordered!

We were blessed enough to live only about 30 minutes from Daytona Beach for quite awhile, so I know the area well.  This meant many many visits to that popular sandy shore line, local parks, museums, restaurants, even all of the shopping. You probably can’t imagine everything that Daytona Beach has to offer!

During the Fall and Winter months you can enjoy the Warm Holiday Fun while taking in the sights and sounds of all the festivals and activities going on in the area. Of course there is shopping and golfing too! It is also the perfect time to hit the local parks, day or night. This time of year there aren’t as many insects about and you can really kick back and just star gaze the night away.

Looking for something else?  You will never be bored in Daytona Beach. There is so much going on around Daytona Beach this time of year. Check out this schedule! The Christmas Boat Parade is NOT to be missed!

Planning a trip? You really ought to check out these Weekday Getaway Deals! I love traveling during the week because it is always less crowded!

Of course, there are the usual Daytona Beach tourist destinations. I highly suggest the Daytona International Speedway, Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse and Museum, The Museum of Arts & Sciences, and Bulow Plantation Ruins State Historical Park.

Bulow Plantation Ruins State Park is especially interesting. The Daytona Beach area is really rich in history of early settlers and Native Americans. There is always an opportunity to sneak in a little history while having fun! Plus in the Fall and Winter the weather is perfect to explore the grounds.

To me there is nothing better than getting out and taking a walk. I love connecting with the world around me and taking in the sights and sounds as I clear my head. Daytona Beach and the surrounding areas have some of the most breathtaking natural attractions. Find a local park and just explore for an afternoon. In the Fall and Winter all of the migratory birds are in the area. People come from all over just to watch them. You can really be entertained for hours just admiring the beauty of the world around you.

I know for certain there is one thing you won’t want to miss when visiting Daytona Beach. That is the gorgeous sunrises, and sunsets. The sky turns the most brilliant colors those times of day. It looks as if someone has painted on. Some of the most unbelievably amazing sunrises have happened over Daytona Beach. It is worth setting an alarm for. Trust me.

When you schedule that trip this Fall or Winter, plan on heading to Daytona Beach. It will not disappoint!
