7 Shortcuts for Saving at Amazon

Stretch your budget year round with these 7 Shortcuts for saving at Amazon.

I love saving money at Amazon.com all year long, but during the holiday season I try even harder to stretch my budget. Amazon is a great place to shop when you are pinching those pennies. They have some fabulous deals and you can’t beat the fact that they ship them right to your door! Here are my favorite tricks to saving at Amazon!

7 Shortcuts For Saving at Amazon

Amazon Prime – Not really a secret, but Amazon Prime is my favorite way to save money on Amazon. You pay a yearly fee and get FREE 2 Day Shipping on any order, FREE streaming movies, FREE streaming music, and so many more perks! Plus Amazon Prime members get special offers and discounts throughout the year. Go now to get a FREE 30 Day Trial! It is definitely worth the money. See how I save at Amazon compared to the cost.

Delay Shipment – Are you an amazon prime member? If you place an order for an item but don’t need it right away you can select a slower shipping option at checkout. Usually they will offer you an incentive for doing so like a $1 mp3 credit or a $5 Prime Pantry Credit. They can really add up. We get free movie rentals and new release music this way.

Amazon Warehouse Deals – Amazon has their own Warehouse Deals page that lists open box, damaged, discontinued, and returned times at a discount! These are constantly changing but it is worth taking a peek if you are looking for a bargain! Saving at Amazon made easy!

Movers & Shakers – I love to check out Amazon’s Movers & Shakers page. You can narrow it down by category and it will tell you which items are selling the fastest. This is usually the deeply discounted items. Which makes it super simple to spot a deal!

Amazon Outlet – Not to be confused with the Warehouse Deals, Amazon has an online outlet too! Shop outlet prices and markdowns on electronics, clothing, jewelry and more all year! Plus you can subscribe to their emails to stay up to date on the latest buys.

Subscribe & Save– This is one of the ways to save that I use the most! With Subscribe & Save you add select items to your subscribe & save order every month. You will save at least 5% and get free shipping. Once you have 5 subscribe and save items added to your order for that month you savings jumps to 15% off! Don’t stress because you can cancel at anytime. Keep your eyes out for e-coupons and other discounts that you can pair with the subscribe & save deals for even more savings!

Amazon Visa Card – I don’t usually recommend credit cards, but if you shop on amazon a lot the Amazon Visa Card might be a great option for you. Different times of year they offer you a bonus for signing up. Last Christmas it was a $60 Amazon Gift Card, plus you earn 3% back in Amazon dollars on all amazon purchases. An easy way to save a little more money on your purchases.

I hope that these 7 Shortcuts for saving at Amazon help you save a little more money. Stay tuned for 7 ShortCuts for Saving at Kohls and Target coming soon!
