Do you love shopping at Target? Learn how to save money with these 7 ShortCuts for Saving at Target

Target is one of my favorite places to shop year round! They are so many ways to get great savings! Plus many of them stack with each other to really help you get the biggest bang for your buck and really stretch your savings at Target.

7 ShortCuts for Saving at Target

Red Card

I am always so put off by store credit cards to save money. That is why I love Target’s Red Card. They offer not just a credit card but a debit card. It attaches to your bank account and works just like your debit card.  Plus ALL Target Red Card holders get 5% off all of their purchases, plus free shipping at Target.com and other perks.  Go now to sign up for your Red Card

Mobile Coupons

Go now to sign up for Target’s Mobile Coupons via your smartphone. They will text you new coupons not just for food, but all kinds of items. These are a super way to save!

Coupons

Target loves coupons! Seriously, they offer them everywhere. Now that you are signed up for their Mobile coupons head to Target.com to print even more coupons. Plus watch at the register, they print out some amazing additional coupons at checkout!

Cartwheel

Signing up for target cartwheel is easy and makes saving easy. Go to Target Cartwheel and add savings to your cartwheel. Print the barcode or download the app. Let the cashier scan your phone or the printed barcode at the checkout to get the savings.

Clearance

Target’s clearance has so many aspects that it can be a post on it’s own. A couple of big tips.

  • Shop the end-caps at Target. These typically have the clearance.
  • Don’t trust the signs, scan. Sometimes the stickers haven’t been updated yet and the price can be even lower.
  • The clearance cycle goes 15% off, 30%, 50%, 70%…rarely you will see it go up to 90% off.  Usually the discount goes up every 2 weeks.
  • The last week of July and the last week of December (after Christmas) starts the big toy clearance of the year. This is the time to snag gifts for Birthday’s, holidays and more

Price Match

Target has a fantastic price match policy. If you find a lower price on an item at another retailer they will match the price on that item. Even if you have already purchased it you have 14 days to match it to a lower price. Plus they are now matching select online retailers too!

Stack those Deals

If all of those savings weren’t awesome enough, you can stack them! Basically stacking is using more than one method of saving at once. Use Target Coupons, with Manufacturer coupons, & Cartwheel.  That can make for some amazing savings, especially if the item is already on sale!

I hope these tips really get you saving at Target!
