Lucky St Patricks Day Wreath Craft
I love to craft with the kids on the weekends, and it is even more fun when we can display our DIY projects for a holiday! This week my daughter and I made this Lucky St Patricks Day Wreath Craft hang on the wall in our office for St Patrick’s Day!
This craft was super easy to make, and most of the supplies came from the dollar tree. Although I will admit, I am a craft supply hoarder. I dug out some old supplies I had. A great tip is to hit up Target and other retailers after a holiday! Snag some of their fantastic 50% off or more clearance and stash it away for future projects! That is what I do, and it has come in handy on more than one occasion!
St Patricks Day Wreath Craft
You Will Need
- Small Wreath Form
- Burlap Ribbon
- Fake Craft Greenery
- Wooden letter tiles that spell “LUCKY” or any word you choose
- Additional ribbon or decorations in green/gold
- hot glue gun & glue sticks
How to
I took the wreath form and the burlap ribbon (both purchased from Dollar Tree) and hot glued the burlap ribbon around the form to cover it.
Next, I wrapped this gold sequin ribbon I had around the wreath also hot gluing it for added decoration.
We pulled apart some cheap artificial flowers we had and just used the leaves for greenery. We hot glued those to the corner of the wreath.
I then took the wooden letter tiles that spelled “LUCKY” and laid them on a piece of green rick rack that I had. I glued them down on the rick rack and glued the entire thing onto the wreath.
Finally I took a piece of the rick rack trim and glued it from the top to hang the wreath by.
I just love how this turned out! It is the perfect little bit of luck for the house!
Add a little luck to your life with this LUCKY St Patricks Day Wreath Craft! A perfect addition to your March home decor!
