DIY Monster Wreath – Halloween Kids Craft
This halloween kids craft can’t get much cuter! Find out just how simple it is to make this DIY Monster Wreath with your little monsters.
My kids love to celebrate Halloween, but we try to keep it light-hearted and fun! We love to curl up with our own 13 Nights of Halloween Movie Marathon and make fun Halloween treats! The most fun though is creating fun and spooky crafts like this super cute DIY Monster Wreath.
DIY Monster Wreath
You will need
- Assorted Colorful Pompoms
- googly eyes
- glue gun
- paper plate or cardboard
- ribbon for hanging
How to
Cut your cardboard or paper plate into a small wreath shape. We made ours about 8 inches across. Then just start gluing down your pom poms to cover.
I am sure you could use a craft glue instead of a hot glue gun, but we chose to use a hot glue gun for ours.
After we filled the wreath with pompoms we started to glue down the eyes. We didn’t cover the monster wreath with eyes because we wanted them to look hidden. We also glued in some plastic toy monster teeth we found with the Halloween party favors at the store. They were a super cute touch.
There is no right or wrong way to make this. Just have fun with it. It’s even more fun to give your kids the supplies and see what they create! They will have a blast!
Once it is all finished hot glue the ribbon to the back for hanging. You are ready to decorate for halloween with this fun and festive DIY Monster Wreath!
