Grinch’s small heart grew three sizes that day! These Grinch Cupcakes are super simple to make and too cute not to try! This recipe is a Christmas keeper!
There are very few movies to usher in the Christmas season that are as iconic as How the Grinch Stole Christmas. The classic green bad guy learns the meaning of Christmas and well….the rest is history.
Well, in Whoville they say – that the Grinch’s small heart grew three sizes that day. And then – the true meaning of Christmas came through, and the Grinch found the strength of *ten* Grinches, plus two!
These Grinch Cupcakes capture the essence of the Grinch with a simple tasty design that everyone will love!
This Wilton Grass Icing Tip is the key to these fun Grinch Cupcakes. If you are not a cake decorator that is OK! I am not either. Trust me…my cupcake skills are limited. These are super easy though.
Bake your favorite cupcakes. We used our Homemade Cake Mix Recipe to make these yellow cupcakes. While they were cooling I made a batch of the BEST Buttercream Frosting ever and colored it with a bit of green food coloring.
Place you new tip onto a piping bag and fill it with the green icing. Just squeeze it and pull up to create the Grinch’s fur. Repeat all over the top of the cupcake. It works best from the outside in. Then carefully place a large heart sprinkle. THAT IS IT! I told you these were simple!
My kids totally flipped out for these! We had a Grinch movie night and these cupcakes. Those are the memories that they will keep forever!
