No-Drip Homemade Ice Packs
A simple solution to cool those lunch boxes! No drip Homemade Ice Packs. Super cheap & easy to make!
Back to school means back to packing lunches and finding creative ways to keep things cold or warm until the kids get to eat them. Then there is the mess of ice packs. Things leaking and dripping all over the place. No one wants to clean that up! That is why these No Drip Homemade Ice Packs are so genius!
Supplies
All you need to make these is…
- Quart Sized Zip-top Freezer Bags
- New Kitchen Sponges
Both can be purchased from the Dollar Tree. No need to get too fancy.
Instruction
I grabbed some cheap sponges from the dollar tree. I wet them till they were damp and put them in a Ziploc bag. That’s it.
Just pop them in the freezer. These make perfect ice packs for lunch boxes. Plus since the sponges are absorbent there will be no drips later in the day! It’s wonderful! Such a simple solution!
Other Uses
Obviously, these are perfect for anything you need a cold pack for; boo boos, etc. They are wonderful to have on hand.
I will definitely be trying. Thanks for the tip.
