Such a fun drink to serve for Shark Week, or a super party idea. Make this simple Shark Bait Soda for the kids. They will love it!

Shark Week is coming! My kids get so excited about it. They love to watch nature shows and learn as much as they can. Frankly, they know so much they are on their way to being little zoologists. We love to make Shark Week Snacks and this Shark Bait Soda is one of their favorites.

MY LATEST VIDEOS

I started a couple days early and made these shark bait ice cubes. A must have for this Shark Bait Soda is these Blue Gummy Sharks. Shark fruit snacks won’t do. Seriously…splurge and get the gummy sharks.

I filled an ice cube tray with the gummy sharks and then poured in a sprite with some maraschino cherry juice mixed in for the red color. You could use Grenadine too.  Fill the tray and pop in the freezer until solid.

When you are ready to make the drinks get out sprite or another lemon-lime soda, maraschino cherries, and your ice cubes. Oh, and the gummy sharks and a cute straw really make it cute.

Take a couple cherries and chop them up. Put them in the bottom of the glass with about 1 tbsp of cherry juice.  It looks like chum. 😉

Add a couple of those Shark Ice Cubes.

And top off with sprite. What you end up with is like a kids Shirley Temple but with sharks! Push one of the gummy sharks down on your straw so it looks like it is circling the bait.
