Take 10 Gift Basket Idea
Summer time is meant to be a time for relaxation. A time to recharge and rejuvenate. When you are a parent that sometimes goes out the window. We have all been in that place where the kids are going in 10 different directions, they are bored, they are hungry, somebody is sick….you are no longer a priority. You family is, and you are stressed. You are no longer in a position to be the best caregiver because you yourself could use some care. Self care is so important, but so easy to forget. That is why we all need to Take 10!
While it is hard enough to remember to care for ourselves, why not take the first step and help a friend remember to take time?
I was out running errands today and picked up an extra carton of International Delight Iced Coffee and a few items at the dollar store. Grand total was under $10. I put the International Delight Iced Coffee, insulated cup, flip flops, sunglasses, & candy bar in this cute bucket.
I came home and made these cute Take 10 Printable Gift Tags (go now to download and print them out for FREE)
Everyone needs to be appreciated, everyone needs a few minutes, and everyone could use a cup of coffee. 😉 Ok, that last one is just my personal opinion, but it can certainly help put a smile on your face and a spring in your step.
I left this basket on the doorstep of a friend who I thought could use a pick me up today. Kinda the grown up version of ding dong ditching…except this one is actually appreciated. Not only did I help put a smile on someones face, I reminded them that they are important too!
When I came home the kids all ran off to play legos and watch a movie. I decided to Delight in 10 and pour myself a cup of International Delight Iced Coffee. The Sweet Cream flavor is heavenly! I popped over to check out International Delight’s new website section, IDELIGHT IN 10. It is full of great recipes, coupons, videos, and more. A great way to spend 10 minutes relaxing and taking time for yourself.
