It is nice to escape reality from time to time.  I sometimes wake up in the morning and grab my cup of fresh coffee and a delicious fresh baked treat.  I sit in my chair on the patio and listen to the birds chirp, the breeze blowing across my face. Then the sound of shrill screams followed by “MMMOOOMMM! She took my video game!”  Hey, I didn’t say it was perfect.  It is just the life of a mom.

I love to have some kind of fresh baked treat for breakfast on the weekends.  It is so nice to sleep in and wake up to a nice fresh cup of coffee with a tasty treat, even if it is accompanied by the everyday screams of siblings.

Grab a cup of coffee and enjoy some of these delicious Lemon Blueberry Scones this weekend.

I didn't have ingredients for this recipe; however, I made the cinn rolls(w/Bisquick) this morn. Again, didn't have cream cheese for top...anyway, kids thought they were a hit.
Quick & easy and pretty tasty. I used powdered sugar w/milk & some extra cinn for topping.
      thx

I made these this morning immediatly when I saw this recipe...I didn't have frozen blueberries I had fresh ones, so I was just a bit more light with kneading them in...they were so good with out the glaze...was a great treat with my coffee..
