Homemade Croutons

Pin

Phew! It has been a busy day! Appointments, Target, and a quick trip to the store.  You know the one! The trip for the one thing you forgot on your big trip! 🙂  Anyway,  I didn’t have time to make these last night, so I just finished them.  Homemade Croutons.

Why not just buy a box?  Well, I have a few reasons.

  • I got a free loaf of Italian bread when I bought Kraft Cheese this week
  • My daughter can’t have dairy…Have you read a label lately?
  • I like to know what is in my food.  ( I can’t pronounce some of the ingredients)
  • This can be used with Gluten Free bread too!
  • They just taste better!

I think that about covers it.  Plus, my house has the wonderful aroma of fresh baked bread, and I didn’t have to bake anything!  These are a great way to impress guests in minutes too! There is nothing better than a warm crispy crouton on top of a fresh green salad!

These can be dairy free depending on the bread you use!  They can also be made gluten free if you use gluten free bread! I am totally allergy friendly 🙂
