Gluten Free

Chex Mix in bowls with cutting board and grey napkin

In our house we love to make this classic gluten free. It is as simple as a few ingredient substitutions.

Obviously you are going to want to use a gluten free Worcestershire sauce. This isn’t as difficult as you think. We have had good luck with Aldi & Walmart for this.

Now comes the fun part; changing up some of the mix ingredients. Here are my sugguestions

  • Gluten-Free Pretzels
  • All Rice or Corn Chex
  • Plantain Chips
  • Corn Nuts
  • Small Rice Crackers

When it comes to the gluten free pretzels any brand is fine, but Snyders makes a Honey Mustard Gluten Free Pretzel that is phenomenal! TRY IT!

Honestly, when it comes to snack mix you can add and take away any of the ingredients you want. Just try to keep the ratios about the same in the mix.

Vegan

To make this vegan party mix simply substitute your favorite vegan butter substitute. Also, use a vegan Worcestershire sauce.

Storage

Store any uneaten Chex mix in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
