Crock Pot Jalapeno Bacon Dip
Football season is in full swing. Saturdays and Sundays my house is a food free for all. I think we have ditched meals and just gone to full blown appetizer extravaganza. You know what? I haven’t heard too many complaints. Especially when goodies like this Crock Pot Jalapeno Bacon Dip hit the table!
I took a couple of my little helpers and ran to Save-A-Lot this week. We hadn’t been, and I am trying to find new ways to save on groceries. It seems like prices keep climbing no matter how many coupons I clip. I was pleasantly surprised by the selection and prices! We got everything pictured above for $100! No coupons! Now that is a shopping trip! We will definitely be heading back to snag some more great deals!
We came home and got the ingredients together for our dip! The Senora Verde Jalapenos from Save A Lot kinda rock. I may go back just for these next time. 😉
Ok, so it isn’t pretty but everyone in the crock pot and stir. I used my smallest crock pot which is 4 qt, but I would recommend a 2 quart. Turn on low for about an hour, or warm for longer if you need it. You just want to heat it through and get the cheeses to melt.
Serve it right from the crock pot or into a bowl with some tortilla chips! Everyone will be begging for the recipe…trust me!
